Easy Pancake Recipe
What you'll need to make around 10 pancakes
100g plain flour
2 large eggs
1 tbsp caster sugar (15grams)
250ml milk
2 tbsp melted butter (30g), cooled and not hot hot.
Method
- Ideally sift the 100g flour into a bowl with a pinch of salt. Create a well in the centre. In a second bowl, whisk the eggs with the sugar, milk and cooled melted butter till all mixed together, then pour into the well. Using a whisk or ideally an electric one, whisk the liquid into the flour until you have a smooth batter.
- Heat up some butter or oil in a frying pan. Add a ladles worth of batter swirling round and covering the bottom of the pan.
- Cook each pancake for 60-90 Seconds, then flip over for a final minute on the other side. As the pancakes are ready, layer them between sheets of nonstick baking paper or just get stuck right in while making the next.
- Top with Sugar, Lemon, Nutella or whatever takes your fancy.
